Petpals - Stockton-on-Tees Home Sitter (Self Employed)

Job Summary

Petpals Stockton-on-tees require a home sitter to join them. The main objective of the role will be to stay at our client’s homes while they are away, looking after their pets, homes and gardens (if applicable). The successful candidate will meet the following essential criteria and preference will be given to those who also meet the criteria listed as desirable.

Hours of Work

This will vary from client to client but will involve staying away overnight.

Experience

Owned or looked after dogs and cats (Essential)
Understanding basic pet care requirements (Essential)
Owned or looked after small farm animals and/or horses (Desirable)

Qualifications

Relevant qualification in pet care (Desirable)

Skills (All Essential)

Willing and able to walk dogs and care for outside pets in all weathers
To be able to care for our client’s pets and home as if they were your own

Responsible and conscientious
Honest and reliable
Flexible and Personable
Remain calm in an emergency

Other Requirements

Own transport (Essential)
Transport capable of transporting 1 or more dogs (Desirable)
