About Petpals Richmond & Northallerton
I have lived in and around Catterick since 1997. After a career in the Army then teaching, I was looking for a fulfilling career where I could combine running my own business with my passion for animals. Starting a Petpals franchise was the perfect solution and I launched Petpals (Richmond and Northallerton) in March 2010. I have now been running Petpals for almost 8 years and during this time I have encountered most animals small and large and have completed extensive animal and pet courses, which can be viewed here.
I have a long history of owning German Shepherds and always take my dogs on holiday with me to Spain so I am able to offer sound advice on the Pet Travel Scheme.
I have 2 German Shepherds Zara and Rocco, both are extremely sociable. They meet many dogs each day and love to run with them on my 3-acre field at my home. I live in a rural location so great for dogs to let off a bit of steam. For extra peace of mind, we also have CCTV covering our property, keeping the safety and welfare of your pets a top priority.
I have looked after various types of pets over the years, dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, guinea, birds, horses, chickens and sheep. At Petpals I am fully insured and trained and also have a home boarding licence issued by Richmond District Council. To give you peace of mind your pet will always receive continuous service and be made to feel at home. I am also able to administer medication to your pets should their condition require it as I have experience of pets with Epilepsy, Diabetes, Osteoarthritis and incontinence.
On-going Pet Welfare Training, liaising with local community police, community groups and vets all assist in the provision of a friendly, flexible, professional and personally-tailored service that puts the pets first.
Cat care in their own home and dog boarding is particularly popular as an alternative to Catteries and Kennels, as both these services can be particularly stressful for your animals. Let me cater for them during holidays, weekends away and business trips. Allow me to take away the worries and stresses of having to accommodate your pet when you are unable to.
Petpals (Richmond & Northallerton) are also able to offer a Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Service to all the forces within Catterick Garrison. We cover various areas including Melsonby, Ravensworth, East Layton, Aldborough St John, Barton, Richmond, Bedale Catterick, Northallerton, Leeming Bar, Exelby, Snape, Leyburn to name but a few. We also use areas such as Richmond Racecourse and Catterick Racecourse to exercise dogs. Also many great walks in and around Richmond Melsonby, Bedale, and Northallerton.
At Petpals we are fully trained, insured, uniformed and DBS checked. We are delighted to offer a flexible range of friendly, professional services that can be personally tailored to your requirements and your pet’s individual needs.
