Jayne and her Petpals team have been looking after the pets of the Wirral since 2010.

After 18 years of working as a professional librarian, Jayne and her husband, Jim, a former Senior Teacher (who runs Petpals Heswall & West Kirby) decided to give up their professional careers to combine their love of animals and the great outdoors with owning their own business.

Animals have always been a key component in their lives. Jayne grew up with tortoises, fish, cats and a poodle! Jim grew up with German Shepherds (his father was a breeder) and Jim and Jayne’s cat, Pixie, was with them for 16 years, even enjoying living in the Middle East with them. Currently, they have both Bella and Buffy, who are two delightfully crazy ex-rescue cats.

At Petpals we are fully trained and insured. Our goal is to deliver high quality and professional pet services by providing reliable and flexible solutions for all your pet care needs. Our range of services include pet home visits, dog walking, cat sitting, dog sitting, dog visits and pet to vet taxi service (the taxi service is by prior appointment on weekends only) – all with the aim of providing your pets with the same love and affection they receive from you.

At Petpals we are fully trained, insured, uniformed and security checked. We are delighted to offer a flexible range of friendly, professional services that can be personally tailored to your requirements and your pet’s individual needs.
