Petpals in the Tees Valley began its journey in 2006 when husband and wife team Sallyann & David both decided on a career change from teaching and the Police, creating Petpals Darlington & Yarm.

Fast forward to 2020 and that business is now the leading franchise within the Petpals network winning best performance awards in eleven out of the last twelve years. Featuring in the National as well as Local press both David & Sallyann are frequently nominated for business awards within their industry.

Petpals has grown because of the tremendous teams they have built around them – the main photograph shows them all celebrating their 2019 best performance franchise award.

When after lockdown in 2020 the opportunity arose to take over Stockton they jumped at the opportunity and are really excited to be able to bring a wealth of expertise into providing Stockton with a professional first class service providing the very best of care for the customers much loved pets.

David & Sallyann together with their new team of Christine, Lee and Kristine supported by Jayne, Louise and Natalie who will be working across both areas have between them have amassed years of experience with almost every type of domestic pets. Obviously lots of gorgeous cats and dogs, but even some of our more exotic friends such as snakes, turtles, lizards, cockatiels, house rabbits, chinchillas, degus, poultry, pigeons, donkeys and alpacas, free flying budgies and parrots too – the whole team are committed to giving all pets the very best care and attention.

With the change in the law in Doggy Home Boarding last year Sallyann & David were delighted to be one of the first to receive Darlington Borough Council’s maximum 5 star awards recognising the excellent quality of care provided. In addition Sallyann has also passed with flying colours the IMDT Daycare & Boarding qualification ensuring Petpals Stockton continue to fly the flag for quality and professional standards.

By continually investing in new and innovative products and services for their business Petpals Stockton aim to stay ahead, recent additions included a secure web based booking and information service which allows their customers

• Online database which their team use to know all the routines, behaviours and requirements required to deliver a quality service

Additionally, they have integrated GPS tracking for dogs into their business. These amazing devices provide accurate information on the dogs whereabouts on any PC, tablet or smart phone device.
