Hi and welcome to Petpals (Chislehurst).
My name is Ray and I run the premium pet care service in the area. After having a career in transport and then as an instructor with the London Fire Brigade I decided to pursue my dream of running my own pet care service.
Setting up and running Petpals (Chislehurst) was the perfect opportunity for me to leave the hustle and bustle of the busy London life and enjoy the green open spaces that Chislehurst and the surrounding areas offer together with spending time with lots of wonderful furry friends!
I grew up with a range of family pets including dogs, cats, outdoor fish, tropical fish, birds, rabbits, tortoises to name the common ones. I also worked as a volunteer in veterinary practices before the demands of ‘grown up’ life took a hold of me.
Both myself and my wife Sandra, are dedicated and experienced pet carers and currently own two wonderful dogs, Ralf and Sydni, and as a working couple we fully understand the trials of caring for animals with demands that work and unforeseen circumstances can throw your way. We understand the need to know that the much loved furry, family members are being cared for and this is where we can provide peace of mind.
Whilst offering a dedicated and professional service we understand that when caring for your pet we have the responsibility to look after 2 of your most precious things – your home and your best friend, whether it be furry or non furry and be rest assured any pet in our care will be treated as a member of our family. We also believe it is very important that you feel the comfort and peace of mind that comes with using a national company, recognised as the UK’s leading provider of home from home and in your home pet care services.
At Petpals (Chislehurst) we are fully trained, security checked, uniformed and insured. You will see us around in our branded van which is professionally fitted with padlocked cages. We offer a range of flexible premium pet care services that can be tailored to suit the individual needs of you and your pets.
Our services include pet sitting, dog sitting, cat sitting, dog walking, home visits for cats and small pets (including fish, rodents and exotics), puppy care, elderly dog care, home visits and sitting for dogs, pet taxi and pet to vet service. We are also happy to administer any required medication.
