Fiona and Dave took over Amber Valley, which at the time also included Matlock and Belper, in October 2007 following a lifetime of pet ownership in which valuable experience was gained.

We are now well established and respected pet care professionals with all employees having achieved ‘level 3 extended diploma’ in animal management at Broomfield College.

Dogs on the ‘pack exercise’ have the benefit of professionally fitted travel cages, air conditioning and trackers in all vehicles while being transported, for safety, comfort and security. Also while enjoying playtime with their friends they are photographed (with owners permission) and are then loaded to facebook on a daily basis by Chester Wallis our adorable Springer Spaniel.

Our ‘home boarding’ is approved, regulated and licenced by Amber Valley Borough Council with all dogs boarded in our own home. Please note however, that due to the increased demand during school holidays we restrict the home boarders to dogs that are regularly exercised or boarded throughout the year.

Grooming is also available in our recently fitted ‘Groom Room’ with trained stylist Rhiannon.

Holidaying cat owners have the opportunity to leave their cat at home, safe in the knowledge of a 20 minute ‘pet visit’ per day (an automatic feeder is available for free loan if a second meal is required).
