Are you an animal lover? Used to looking after dogs in your own home? Perhaps you have previously owned your own pet and no longer wish to or are unable to make the long term, permanent commitment that goes with ownership but miss the companionship, sociability and love that come with caring for a pet. If so, then we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for trustworthy, reliable animal lovers to provide a safe and caring environment for our dogs, without disrupting their every day routines and exercises.

Our approved host families offer a loving home environment as an alternative to boarding kennels, taking the dog into their homes as part of the family, creating less stress and anxiety for the owner and pet.

To become a Petpals approved home boarder you will be interviewed in your own home by a Petpals franchisee where we will cover topics such as the type of dogs that would suit you and your family, what you can expect from being a home boarder, availability and the minimum requirements needed to meet our criteria such as having a dog secure garden etc. At Petpals we feel it is essential and beneficial to both owners and boarders to meet in advance of the stay allowing the boarder and pet to familiarise themselves with each other and also discuss the care requirements, feeding and walking patterns, food and treats.

Your Petpals franchisee will keep in constant contact with you should you require any help or advice.
