Welcome to Petpals Newbury

Mark and Dawn took over from Christophe Larcher in 2005 who had launched Petpals Newbury in 2003. Both have grown up owning a variety of animals including dogs, cats, guinea pigs and budgies and currently share their home with two German Shorthaired Pointers and a Cocker Spaniel.
Mark and Dawn currently operate the business from Didcot.
At Petpals we are fully trained, insured. Our pet sitting services are flexible and can be tailored to your pet’s individual needs. Our pet services include, dog walking, home visits for cats and small pets, puppy care, elderly dog care, home visits for dogs, home sitting, pet sitting and a pet taxi and pet to vet service.
Both Mark and Dawn are registered pet sitters who have completed training in the following:
- Pet Handling and restraint
- Behaviour, intelligence and socialisation
- First Aid
- Care of Older Pets
- Pet Sanitation
Both have experience in the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme and Mark is currently studying canine psychology and advanced dog training.
In addition to cats and dogs, services for small pets such as chinchillas, hamsters, rabbits, fish, birds and exotics are available.
