Geoff Riley and Jayne Kohl launched their professional pet and home care services operation on Monday 6th September 2004. Geoff has a keen interest in animals and has always been around a wide variety from childhood to present. Petpals (West Manchester) is based in Worsley and will be looking after the areas running from Worsley to Altrincham, including Astley, Boothstown, Brookhouse, Brooklands, Cadishead, Davyhulme, Eccles, Farnworth, Hale, Irlam, Little Hulton, Lymm, Monton, Mosley Common, Patricroft, Partington, Peel Green, Sale, Salford, Stretford, Swinton, Timperley, Trafford, Urmston, Walkden and other west Manchester areas.

Both Geoff & Jayne are very much looking forward to working with other approved pet professionals in the area. They will be providing trained, insured, peace of mind home and pet care services locally at sensible prices.

Since launch, Petpals (West Manchester) Ltd have provided care for a range of animals including, cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish & birds. Jayne & Geoff have their own much loved dog, Reuben, a Border Collie Cross aged 10 years, who travels with them to France for an annual holiday.

In August 2006 Geoffs dad (Geoff senior) joined them in the business; Petpals West Manchester can now offer its professional services 365 days a year.

At Petpals we are fully trained, insured. Our pet sitting services are flexible and can be tailored to your pet’s individual needs. Our pet sitting and pet boarding services include, dog sitting, dog walking, dog boarding, home visits for cats and small pets, puppy care, elderly dog care, home visits for dogs, home sitting, cat sitting and a pet taxi and pet to vet service.

Jayne & Geoff are registered pet sitters who have completed training in the following:

• Dog Walking

  Making use of the many areas found locally, our dog walking aims to give your dog a stimulating and enjoyable walk in a safe environment. These can be individual visits for your dog(s) and or multi walks, with up to four dogs at a time transported in our purpose fitted vehicles.

• Puppy and Elderly Dog Visits

  Our puppy and elderly pet care service offers you units of time during the day to visit your dog(s) at home. During the visit we walk your dog or puppy, play, and if required help with ongoing training, toileting breaks, etc., along with, of course, lots of TLC.

• Dog Boarding and Pet Boarding

  We offer a pet boarding and pet care experience where your dog can stay in the home of one of our carefully selected, dedicated carers. You will be given the opportunity to meet the pet boarding carer before you go away and to see where your pet will be staying. When your dog stays with a Petpals approved family they are treated as one of the family with all the usual sights, sounds and smells of family life, but best of all they will receive all the love, cuddles and attention they deserve!

• Cat Sitting and Cat Visits

  Petpals have proven to be very popular with clients that want to leave their cats at home in there own environment, with familiar comforts and smells, particularly with elderly cats and cats that need medication. Our cat sitting service allows clients to go away safe in the knowledge that Petpals are visiting their cats to feed, clean litter trays if required, play, along with lots of TLC.

• Pet Sitting and Home Sitting

  Our home based pet sitting service is a real alternative to kennels, your pets can remain in their own familiar surroundings, with their own routines and food while you are away.

• Small Pets and Exotics

  Petpals also have varied experience in caring for small pets and exotics and are happy to provide home visits for these types of pets too.

• Pet Taxi

  Petpals are equipped with pet friendly vehicles fitted with specially designed safety cages of various sizes with a vet bed on top of removable rubber matting for hygiene. We can transport everything from small pets and cats to giant dog breeds. We can also help with trips to the vets.

  Geoff and Jayne have been looking after Lily since I adopted her as a puppy three years ago - they have been AMAZING!!! They genuinely care for all the dogs they look after and ensure they recieve lots of love and attention. Lily loves them as much as they love her...I only have to say "Geoff's coming" to her and she's straight to the front door, tag wagging madly.   I can't recommend Geoff, Jane and Daddy Geoff highly enough! We've used them for nearly a year now and they were the best find ever...always there to help out in a crisis even at the last minute. Monty loves his lunchtime visits (especially when Maggsie comes with!) and particularly his overnight stays with Geoff, Jane and Reuben! He literally sleeps for a week when he comes home!
