Tina Fisher took over the Petpals (Loughborough) franchise at the beginning of November 2009.

Tina operates her business from Shepshed and covers Loughborough and all the surrounding villages and also the borders of Nottingham which includes Clifton, Barton in Fabis, Gotham and East Leake.

Having spent 18 years working in various administration roles, Tina wishes to fulfil a lifetime ambition of working with animals. She has a wide experience of both owning and looking after a variety of pets, including 18 months voluntary work in a dog rescue, and is happy to have found a business that allows her time also for her two yorkies, Kizzy and Harry, and 4 cats, Jemima, Jasmine, Tiegra and Taran.

Tina aims to combine her love of all animals with providing a first class service for all the pets that she will care for whether it be one-off or regular dog walks, at home pet visits, pet and home sitting, pet to vet, pet taxi, or pet companionship.

At Petpals we are fully trained, insured. Our pet sitting services are flexible and can be tailored to your pet’s individual needs. Our pet sitting and pet boarding services include, dog sitting, dog walking, dog boarding, home visits for cats and small pets, puppy care, elderly dog care, home visits for dogs, home sitting, cat sitting and a pet taxi and pet to vet service.

Tina is a registered pet sitter who has completed training in the following:

• Dog Walking

  Making use of the many areas found locally, our dog walking aims to give your dog a stimulating and enjoyable walk in a safe environment. These can be individual visits for your dog(s) and or multi walks, with up to four dogs at a time transported in our purpose fitted vehicles.

• Puppy and Elderly Dog Visits

  Our puppy and elderly pet care service offers you units of time during the day to visit your dog(s) at home. During the visit we walk your dog or puppy, play, and if required help with ongoing training, toileting breaks, etc., along with, of course, lots of TLC.

• Dog Boarding and Pet Boarding

  We offer a pet boarding and pet care experience where your dog can stay in the home of one of our carefully selected, dedicated carers. You will be given the opportunity to meet the pet boarding carer before you go away and to see where your pet will be staying. When your dog stays with a Petpals approved family they are treated as one of the family with all the usual sights, sounds and smells of family life, but best of all they will receive all the love, cuddles and attention they deserve!

• Cat Sitting and Cat Visits

  Petpals have proven to be very popular with clients that want to leave their cats at home in there own environment, with familiar comforts and smells, particularly with elderly cats and cats that need medication. Our cat sitting service allows clients to go away safe in the knowledge that Petpals are visiting their cats to feed, clean litter trays if required, play, along with lots of TLC.

• Pet Sitting and Home Sitting

  Our home based pet sitting service is a real alternative to kennels, your pets can remain in their own familiar surroundings, with their own routines and food while you are away.

• Small Pets and Exotics

  Petpals also have varied experience in caring for small pets and exotics and are happy to provide home visits for these types of pets too.

• Pet Taxi

  Petpals are equipped with pet friendly vehicles fitted with specially designed safety cages of various sizes with a vet bed on top of removable rubber matting for hygiene. We can transport everything from small pets and cats to giant dog breeds. We can also help with trips to the vets.

  We recommend Tina to everyone we know. She cares about our cats and knows what she's doing so we don't worry about them while we are away. She gives any medication necessary, which has included injections in the past and clears up any rodent corpses or cat sick. When we get back the cats are relaxed and happy. Brilliant value for money.

  Well Spencer is absolutely shattered after his 3 nights away - he has had such a lovely time and Tina and Neil are great. Spencer was very excited when we pulled into the street which shows how much he enjoys staying. Spencer gets plenty of exercise and socialising. Thanks so much for offering this service.

  I was more than happy with Tina and the team when they walked my two dogs Ellie and Bess, they slept for most of the evening so must have been well excersized. I am recovering from surgery so could'nt walk them myself, I will definatly call on their services again, for holidays etc.

  I would like to thank Tina for the great care of two elderley rabbits Dillon & Ginny and our tortoise named Kiki, the rabbits are alot happier staying at home in their own surroundings and are very happy when we return, its nice to know they are all being cared for well whilst we are away.

  Our pet Golden Labrador Sandy has been looked after by Tina Fisher twice weekly for the last year and has a fantastic time. Tina always shows her lots of affection and cares very much about all her animals that she looks after. I have reccommended Tina/Petpals to many friends with every confidence.   When we decided to buy a dog (never having had one before), we thought it would be relatively simple to find a local dog-walker to take him out when we couldn't be at home. As soon as we got him and he became part of our family, we realised this choice was going to be almost as important as finding the right nursery for our daughter when she was small!!!! How do you leave your little puppy behind when you have to go out? Especially when he gazes up at you with big brown eyes that say "don't leave me!" Well, I can tell you now, it's easy! Call Tina! Right from the first moment we all met, I knew this was right. Our puppy loves Tina as much as he loves us! He goes crazy with delight when her van arrives, and he doesn't even look back when she takes him away! (I suppose that should upset me!!) On a walk recently, we saw Tina's empty van parked nearby, and our dog was really upset when he couldn't find her! Tina goes out of her way to help us and advise us, which, for a first time dog owner, is invaluable, and we thoroughly recommend her to anyone who owns a pet. She's more than a "dog walker", she's a genuine pet lover. Thanks Tina!
