John and Jane Wilkinson launched their Petpals operation on December 8th 2003. They operate the business from Alwoodley in Leeds, West Yorkshire and cover the North Leeds area.

John and Jane have experience with caring for many different types of dogs and cats and they have two much loved crossbreed dogs of their own. John has cared for many different cats and has built a bond with the cats he visits on regular occasions when their humans take their holidays.

Jane and John did some training with petpals before they started their business, which included a very interesting day with Steve Fryer, the dog whisperer who gave an insight into dog behaviour, dog handling and basic first aid. They are members of the National association of registered pet sitters and are life long pet owners and animal lovers.

At Petpals we are fully trained, insured. Our pet sitting services are flexible and can be tailored to your pet’s individual needs. Our service include dog walking and homevisits.

John and Jane are registered pet sitters who have completed training in the following:

• Care of Older Pets

• Dog Walking

  Making use of the many areas found locally, our dog walking aims to give your dog a stimulating and enjoyable walk in a safe environment. These can be individual visits for your dog(s) and or multi walks, with up to four dogs at a time transported in our purpose fitted vehicles.

• Cat Sitting and Cat Visits

  Petpals have proven to be very popular with clients that want to leave their cats at home in there own environment, with familiar comforts and smells, particularly with elderly cats and cats that need medication. Our cat sitting service allows clients to go away safe in the knowledge that Petpals are visiting their cats to feed, clean litter trays if required, play, along with lots of TLC.

• Small Pets and Exotics

  Petpals also have varied experience in caring for small pets and exotics and are happy to provide home visits for these types of pets too.
