Hi welcome to Petpals (Hartlepool and East Durham), we are Karen and Billy Gregory and we live on the East Durham coast with our black and white Springer Spaniel, Marley. We have owned and loved a variety of pets - goldfish, tropical fish, budgerigars, rabbits and hamsters as well as our well-loved dogs ranging in breeds from Yorkshire terriers, Springer Spaniels and German Shepherds.

The last of our children has left home and we feel the time is right for us to try something new and Petpals offers us the opportunity to have our own business doing what we like to do... working with and caring for animals.

We would like to reassure all pet owners that we will always strive to deliver a high quality, dependable service and will look after your pet as well as we look after our own.

Petpals (Hartlepool and East Durham) offer a flexible range of friendly, professional services that can be tailored to your requirements and your pets' individual needs. We are fully trained, uniformed and police checked. Our services include dog walking, dog boarding, dog sitting, home visits for cats and small pets, puppy care, elderly dog care, home visits for dogs and a pet taxi and pet to vet service.

Pet Care, Pet Sitting, Pet Boarding and Dog Walking Service offered by Petpals Hartlepool

• Dog Walking

  Making use of the many areas found locally, our dog walking aims to give your dog a stimulating and enjoyable walk in a safe environment. These can be individual visits for your dog(s) and or multi walks, with up to four dogs at a time transported in our purpose fitted vehicles.

• Puppy and Elderly Dog Visits

  Our puppy and elderly pet care service offers you units of time during the day to visit your dog(s) at home. During the visit we walk your dog or puppy, play, and if required help with ongoing training, toileting breaks, etc., along with, of course, lots of TLC.

• Dog Boarding and Pet Boarding

  We offer a pet boarding and pet care experience where your dog can stay in the home of one of our carefully selected, dedicated carers. You will be given the opportunity to meet the pet boarding carer before you go away and to see where your pet will be staying. When your dog stays with a Petpals approved family they are treated as one of the family with all the usual sights, sounds and smells of family life, but best of all they will receive all the love, cuddles and attention they deserve!

• Cat Sitting and Cat Visits

  Petpals have proven to be very popular with clients that want to leave their cats at home in there own environment, with familiar comforts and smells, particularly with elderly cats and cats that need medication. Our cat sitting service allows clients to go away safe in the knowledge that Petpals are visiting their cats to feed, clean litter trays if required, play, along with lots of TLC.

• Dog Sitting, Pet Sitting and Home Sitting

  Our home based pet sitting service is a real alternative to kennels, your pets can remain in their own familiar surroundings, with their own routines and food while you are away.

• Small Pets and Exotics

  Petpals also have varied experience in caring for small pets and exotics and are happy to provide home visits for these types of pets too.

• Pet Taxi

  Petpals are equipped with pet friendly vehicles fitted with specially designed safety cages of various sizes with a vet bed on top of removable rubber matting for hygiene. We can transport everything from small pets and cats to giant dog breeds. We can also help with trips to the vets.

  I used Petpals Hartlepool to provide daily visits to our home to look after our two cats when we were on holiday. Karen and Billy's communication and attention to detail were excellent and very re-assuring they clearly care about the animals they look after. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

  Rosie and Zebededee were Petpals Hartlepool's first boarders! First class. An excellent time was had by all, and Karen and Billy could not have been better carers for the little dears. I have no hesitation in leaving them to be looked after by Petpals H'pool. Wishing Karen and Billy every success in their new venture.
