Ginny and Wendy launched their Petpals pet sitting operation in September 2004. They run the business from Grantham and cover the town and rural hinterland.

Ginny and Wendy provide ‘peace of mind’, insured pet care services for all animals. Both have grown up caring for numerous family pets ranging from stick insects, hamsters and budgies to dogs, rabbits and horses. They also have experience in caring for cats, rats, hens, birds of prey and parrots to name but a few.

At Petpals we are fully trained, insured. Our pet sitting services are flexible and are tailored to your pet’s individual needs. Our pet sitting services include, dog walking, home visits for cats and small pets, puppy care, elderly dog care, home visits for dogs, cat sitting and a pet taxi and pet to vet service.

Ginny and Wendy are registered pet sitters who have trained in the following:

• Dog Walking

  Using the many areas found locally, our dog walking will give your dog a stimulating and enjoyable walk in a safe environment. These can be individual visits for your dog(s) or with a companion and transported in our purpose fitted vehicles.

• Puppy and Elderly Dog Visits

  Our puppy and elderly pet care service offers you units of time during the day to visit your dog(s) at home. During the visit we walk your dog or puppy, play, and if required help with ongoing training, toileting breaks, etc., along with, of course, lots of TLC.

• Cat Visits

  Petpals Grantham has proven to be very popular with clients that want to leave their cats at home in there own environment, with familiar comforts and smells, particularly with elderly cats and cats that need medication. Our cat sitting service allows clients to go away safe in the knowledge that Petpals Grantham are visiting their cats to feed, clean litter trays if required, play, along with lots of TLC.

• Small Pets and Exotics

  Petpals Grantham also have varied experience in caring for small pets and exotics and are happy to provide home visits for these types of pets too.

• Pet Taxi

  Petpals Grantham have pet friendly vehicles fitted with specially designed safety cages with a vet bed on top of removable rubber matting for hygiene. We can transport everything from small pets and cats to giant dog breeds such as Pyreneans. We can also help with trips to the vets.

  I simply cannot praise Ginny & Wendy enough. My elderly mother was reluctant her beloved cat over Christmas until she met Ginny - she was delighted by the way Myrtle was cared for and the texts, even sent on Christmas Day to reassure her all was well were great. They are lovely warm caring animal loving ladies!

  This Christmas was the first time that I have used Petpals and it will definately not be the last! The personal yet professional service was outstanding. My cats took to Wendy instantly upon meeting her and the detail taken of their individual routines was assuring. The additonal services offered, such as lights/curtain was also a welcomed extra especially over the holiday period. Upon my return home, both cats were in happy spirits as they had been able to relax in their own environment and routines. I would like to thank Wendy so much for looking after my little duo and I particuarly enjoyed the daily diary! I would have no hesitation recommending petpals to any of my frineds and family. A truly outstanding service!

  My little cat Dusty, is almost a ghost cat to Pet Pals, because she hides, usually in bed under the duvet.However,they have fleeting glimpses of her and do everything possible to make her feel secure - I have 100% confidence in them. The other things they do are much appreciated too, like putting out the rubbish bins and a wonderful daily cat diary that they leave for us to see. Pet Pals Grantham

  From the tender age of four months our Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy came to know Ginny, Wendy and Diane as 'the Aunties', and we can not tell you of our relief to find them - pet care providers who understand the specific care and attention puppies of large breeds require when they are young. In our absence, they made sure his training stayed on track, his walks were of a suitable frequency and length, and most importantly he got an abundance of hugs and love. Ginny, Wendy and Diane, thank you. Our puppy grew up to be the well-adjusted dog he is today thanks to you.

  We have used Petpals for a few years now and have consistently found their service to be excellent. Our cats are somewhat elderly but very precious to us and catteries are simply not an option. Knowing that they're in the safe and profession hands of Ginny and Wendy gives us the peace of mind we need and the proof is in the pudding. Both cats are far happier in their own environment!   I have been using the services of Ginny and Wendy for around 4 years now, orginally for our 2 elderly bullmastiffs Tia and Syke and more recently for our 2 playful bullies. Both Daya and Webster love their country walks with the girls and there is always something amusing to read about their adventures when i get home, this is a huge comfort to know the pair are happy and looked after when i am not here.   We have been using Petpals for about five years now, firstly for our very old and poorly cat who received real TLC whilst we were away and now for our young and lively Ernie who is so pleased to have a friendly face to visit when the dreaded suitcase appears and his 'humans' disappear. I never worry about my cat whilst in the car of Wendy and Ginny and can enjoy a holiday with complete peace of mind that both animal and home is being cared for with 5 star service.   When Meg, our Border Collie was taken ill last year it was a godsend to fing Wendy and Ginny. It gave us peace of mind to know that Meg was in safe and experienced hands.   Petpals in Grantham provide a professional and reliable service which helps us to give our dog the best possible care in our hectic lifestyle. Nothing is ever to much trouble for Ginny and Wendy and they are happy to carrry out other little jobs such as closing curtains whilst they visit your pet.   Ginny and Wendy have been the most tremendous "find" in helping me with my hectic life. They have looked after my two precious labradors with care and affection way beyond my initial expectations. My Persian cat passed away a few months ago and the two girls were a huge support to me. I would strongly recommend Petpals in my Grantham area to anyone who loves their pet but needs a second Mum to take them for walks, love them, bath them and put them to their beds with cuddles.

  My lights in shining in armour - well waterproofs and walking boots! When we found Grantham Petpals we could not believe our luck. The also looked after our two dogs while we got married and even managed to teach the dogs how to text to send us a good luck message! Totally trustworthy, reliable and flexiable.   Ginny was our saviour. My dear mother suddenly became terribly ill in 2008 and into a nursing home.I live in London and Buster, her adored cat, was alone in Grantham. All enquires as what to do directed me to Ginny at Petpals. She is an angel; knowledgable, kindness itself, practical, honest, reliable and never made me feel a nuisance whenever I needed to know how he was. Ginny collected the post and even offered to re direct it to me.She was my life line and kept my mother's house secure checking locks and sorting the lights. Most wonderfully , just before my mother died, she encouraged me to take Buster to the nursing home and taught me a brilliant way to get him into his basket.It made my mother's day. After her death Ginny helped hugely in trying to find a new home for Buster and was ready to vet any offers out as I was in London. Buster is now happy as can be living near his old home with his new mum, Super Sue! I would definitely recommend Petpals for your precious pet, whatever your needs.You will have
