Petpals Coventry. Pet sitting and Pet Boarding services include, dog walking, dog sitting, dog boarding, home visits for dogs, cats and small pets, puppy care, elderly dog care, a pet taxi and pet to vet service.

Petpals Coventry was launched in 2004 by Tim Pluckrose. Previously working for a large Civil Engineering firm as a Senior Engineer Tim has a “get the Job Done right !” attitude towards the business and aims to deliver the service to the client to their expectations. Also drawing on his experience working with another franchise area Tim has been able to set up a dedicated & bespoke Petcare service for Coventry and the surrounding Villages based on feedback from his clients.
Petpals Coventry has grown in size since 2004 and now boasts a compliment of both full and part time dog walkers and pet carers. All of our staff are visible on the parks in their uniforms.
In 2006 we became the only Petcare company to become appointed to a major football club and now proudly display the CCFC “By Official Appointment” logo on our vehicles and stationery.
Petpals Coventry has clients with all kinds of animals from hamsters to Great Danes, we have a few local celebrities’ on our books and we even provide our staff services to professional Kennels. If the service you require is not listed then please call us to discuss how we may help.

At Petpals we are fully trained, insured. Our pet sitting services are flexible and can be tailored to your pet’s individual needs. Our pet sitting services include, dog sitting, dog walking, home visits for cats and small pets, puppy care, elderly dog care, home visits for dogs, home sitting, cat sitting and a pet taxi and pet to vet service.
Our pet sitting services are:
We will visit you dogs whilst you are away to feed, fuss, walk or just to give them some company. This is the ideal service for people who work long hours or need to be away from the home for a day. Our visit duration is 35-40 minutes and costs £9.00+VAT, and 2 dogs £12.00+VAT. For 3+ dogs please phone for quote.
As with our lunch visits we will visit you dog to feed, fuss, walk or just give company. If you just want the dogs to have a good walk then we will do this either in the morning (before 11:00) or in the afternoon (after 14:00). Our visit duration is 35-40 minutes and costs £9.00 +VAT, 2 dogs £12.00 + VAT, 3+ please phone for quote.
This year we have launched our “Best in show” services. These services are tailored to give that little extra for your pets. We will take your dogs to a country park, local canal or field walk for a good long walk in the surroundings of rural Warwickshire. Our visit duration is 90 minutes (allowing 15 minutes travel each way) and costs £25.00 +VAT (up to 2 dogs larger numbers by arrangement) We ask that you pre-book this service and do not offer this service during our peak hours of 11:00 – 14:00 hrs mon- fri.
We all want the best for our dogs when we are away on holiday and different dogs need different boarding solutions. Many people are not happy to leave their dogs in the traditional Kennel and prefer for them to stay in a family home. Our carers offer just this service. Your dog can come and live with one of our staff during you holiday and will benefit from a more personal attention than in a boarding kennel. We have carers who have dogs of their own and some that have no dogs, so we can find the right environment for your pet. We currently charge £16.00 +VAT per night for 1 dog and £20.00 +VAT per night for 2 dogs (larger numbers by arrangement).
Not all dogs will suit home boarding so please ask us about our other boarding solutions. Unfortunately due to our boarding licence and insurance we cannot board aggressive or unsocial animals, or animals who are not house trained. We also ask that your animals are fully vaccinated, wormed and advise that you have them vaccinated against Kennel cough. We provide all bedding, bowls, toys and food (unless on medicated diet...hills etc.) Our boarding facility is very busy so we ask that you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Book our best in show service and on your pets final day we will send him/her off for a day of pampering at a grooming salon. When your pet is returned they will be bathed and groomed. No smelly dog to come home to!! Cost small £35.00 +VAT Medium £50.00 +VAT Large £75.00 +VAT
Many of us would prefer our cats to stay at home whilst we are on holiday rather than being put in a cattery. This is exactly what this service allows you to do. Whilst you are on holiday we will come in to feed, fuss and play with your cats. We will also move your post to a discreet location and water any plants. This service is also handy for people who work long hours or have to go away with work at weekends or evenings. We will come in at short notice (so long as we hold keys) and attend to your cats. Our visit duration is 20 minutes and costs £8.00 +VAT per visit (up to 4 cats).
In our experience of cats over the past few years we have noticed an increase in cats suffering from diabetes and requiring their injections at regular intervals. We are quite happy to carry out this for you whilst you are away. We also have a number of clients where elderly or disabled relatives own cats with diabetes and are unable to always be there to help give medication. In this instance we would be happy to hold keys and pop in when you cannot. Our visit duration and cost is the same as normal cat visits.
Sometimes it is difficult to know what to do with the "small furries" when you are going away on holiday or if you are just away overnight. We will visit you small pets and birds to provide fresh food, water and bedding. Our visit duration is 20 minutes and costs £8.00 +VAT per visit. (for up to 3 pens / 6 animals larger numbers by arrangement)
Sometimes if you have a small furry pet, such as a hamster or mouse we would be happy to board it at our home. We ask that they come complete with cage and food and they reside upstairs in our office where there is always something going on to keep them occupied.We charge £8.00 +vat per day (for 1 large or 2 small cages)
Again we have tailored this service to give a little extra. On your return from holiday we will have left you a pre-arranged list of shopping. We have found that people returning from holiday always need the basic essentials, such as bread, butter, milk and cheese. We will give you a list of options when you book and will leave these for you on your return. We charge a set cost of £25.00 +VAT to cover your shopping and our time (based on list of items provided, further requirements by arrangement)
At some point in their life all pets will need to go to the vets, even if it's just for their boosters. We would be happy to collect your pet and take them to the vets on your behalf. We ask that all cats are kept indoors the previous night (so we can find them) and that you notify your vets at the time of booking. For PDSA customers we will need the correct documents from your local PDSA completed by yourself prior to taking the animals. We are able to take 1 owner in the vehicle with us by prior arrangement. Our cost is £15.00 +VAT per hour but we usually agree a fixed price for your convenience.
Inevitably there comes a point when your pet will need to make their final visit to the vets. If you feel that you cannot do this yourself we would be able to do this on your behalf. We ask that you sign a consent form for your vet. Our cost is £20.00 +VAT (please note we cannot move diseased or dead animals)
If you need to move your pets to another location or if you are moving house and just need them out of the way then this is the service for you. One of our staff will collect you animals and move them to their new home. We do all our taxi work by prior arrangement and agree costs prior to doing any work. As a rule we charge £15.00 +VAT per hour.
Misc. Services
Whilst the bulk of our day is taken up walking dogs, feeding cats and playing with small pets we do offer other services for small holdings, professional breeders and Kennels and catteries. Our staff are available from £12.00 +VAT per hour Mon – Fri 09:00 – 17:00 and double time at all other times. We are quite happy to clean up and help out wherever needed (subject to availability)
Home Sitting
We do not currently offer a home sitting service in the Coventry area as we all prefer to be at home with our families and pets.

When you register with Petpals Coventry we will give you a voucher for 4 weeks free pet insurance*
*pet insurance voucher available for all clients booking their first visit. The voucher is for 4 weeks introductory offer through Petpla and must be completed and returned to Petplan. Petpals Coventry offer no services in relation to Insurance cover and offer the voucher as a promotional item. All clients must quote Petpals Coventry when redeeming their voucher.
