Sue Raynor took over Petpals Chilterns on 1st September 2011 having spent 18 months working with the previous owners Michele & Dave Binks. Sue has built a team of helpers receiving one to one training with herself plus Michele & Dave. This has enabled her to expand the services available to include dog walking, boarding (day & overnight) including puppies, plus home sitting services in addition to in-home domestic pet care visits. Whatever the pet or requirement, just ask, Sue will do her best to help as she joins Petpals following a career of 32 years in customer service. All the areas of operation listed above are covered. Sue's helpers include Jenny, who is also qualified in Tellington Touch techniques, which can help with unwanted behaviours & ailments.

All staff are trained, insured & police checked for your peace of mind. Please also feel free to contact us for any advice re feeding/caring for or purchasing/adopting a pet as we have a wide knowledge base to draw on to help you. It is far better to get things right from the start than to try to correct it later on.

Sue owns three dogs, two border terriers (mother & daughter) and an Irish Terrier (which is a KC endangered breed). Sue enjoys her dogs enormously & has had fun learning agility training and grooming techniques to keep them in tip top condition.

Pet Care, Pet Sitting and Pet Boarding Services offered by Petpals Chilterns

• Dog Walking

  Making use of the many areas found locally, our dog walking aims to give your dog a stimulating and enjoyable walk in a safe environment. These can be individual visits for your dog(s) and or multi walks, with up to four dogs at a time transported in our purpose fitted vehicles.

• Puppy and Elderly Dog Visits

  Our puppy and elderly pet care service offers you units of time during the day to visit your dog(s) at home. During the visit we walk your dog or puppy, play, and if required help with ongoing training, toileting breaks, etc., along with, of course, lots of TLC.

• Dog Boarding and Pet Boarding

  We offer a pet boarding and pet care experience where your dog can stay in the home of one of our carefully selected, dedicated carers. You will be given the opportunity to meet the pet boarding carer before you go away and to see where your pet will be staying. When your dog stays with a Petpals approved family they are treated as one of the family with all the usual sights, sounds and smells of family life, but best of all they will receive all the love, cuddles and attention they deserve!

• Cat Sitting and Cat Visits

  Petpals have proven to be very popular with clients that want to leave their cats at home in there own environment, with familiar comforts and smells, particularly with elderly cats and cats that need medication. Our cat sitting service allows clients to go away safe in the knowledge that Petpals are visiting their cats to feed, clean litter trays if required, play, along with lots of TLC.

• Dog Sitting, Pet Sitting and Home Sitting

  Our home based pet sitting service is a real alternative to kennels, your pets can remain in their own familiar surroundings, with their own routines and food while you are away.

• Small Pets and Exotics

  Petpals also have varied experience in caring for small pets and exotics and are happy to provide home visits for these types of pets too.

• Pet Taxi

  Petpals are equipped with pet friendly vehicles fitted with specially designed safety cages of various sizes with a vet bed on top of removable rubber matting for hygiene. We can transport everything from small pets and cats to giant dog breeds. We can also help with trips to the vets.

  Dave has been looking after my cats, Bella and Nikita, whenever I go away for about the last 18 months and I would now never use anyone else. I completely trust him and so leave a key with him permanently, which is so helpful as it means I can go away at relatively short notice and he is always flexible to accomodate us, which I am very grateful for (I do try to book well in advance, but sometimes forget until the last minute when I am really busy).   Dave and Michele walked my cocker spaniel for nearly three years till he sadly passed away. He was a rescue dog and didn't take readily to strangers. However Dave coaxed him to trust him and Jarvis soon became a regular lunch time walkies customer and I didn't have to worry about him for one moment that I was at work or during the times he went to board if I went away. Now my new Field Spaniel puppy happily goes off to day boarding and plays with the other dogs and gets nice walks. He even boarded overnight at the tender age of three months with no problems.   We have two springer spaniels who, in the past, have refused to be taken for a walk by anyone other than myself or my husband. Poppy is almost 15 and Homer is almost 11. I had a spell in Hospital in August and the poor dogs needed walking. Even though they are getting on in years they still walk over an hour and a half each day. I was recommended by three friends to ask Michele and Dave at Chiltern Petpals for their help and I have to say we've been absolutely delighted with them. They have walked our dogs each day for the past five weeks and even came to take them out on a Sunday. Now that I am back on my feet I am able to walk the dogs for an hour in the mornings. However, they are both very unhappy about Michele and Dave not calling for them for a walk. As they seem to be missing their walk so much we've decided to ask for two walks a week. They love getting in the van and walking with all the other dogs. It's also helped Homer to be a bit more sociable. THANK YOU MICHELE & DAVE. YOU HAVE BEEN A GOD-SEND

  I can't thank Petpals enough. They have been walking my two dogs for two years now and have had them for a "sleepover" as well. It has been great to know I don't have to worry about them whilst I am at work. Michelle & Dave are a lovely couple and you know they have a real empathy with the pets they care for.
