Petpals Chelmsford was launched in 2004. As long-term clients and fans, Ellie & Peter were delighted when the opportunity came up for them to take over in July 2007.  Both are true animal lovers and have enjoyed a weird and wonderful array of pets over the years, from afghan hounds, to birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, many cats, and even a sheep.  For the last 11 years they have been the proud owners of an Airedale Terrier, Monty

Petpals offers a fully personalised and professional alternative to kennels, catteries and calling on your neighbours to help out yet again.

With a dedicated team on hand who are also fully trained, insured, uniformed and all carry ID cards, Petpals offers flexible services which can be tailored to your pet's individual needs.

Dog Walking/Puppy Visits

We can offer you regular or occasional visits from 30 mins up to one hour to suit your dog's needs.  During the visit we can feed, walk, play and groom, and can also help with ongoing training - all provided, of course, with lots of TLC.

Cat Visits

Petpals has proven to be very popular with clients that want to leave their cats at home in their own environment with familiar comforts and smells, particularly with elderly cats and those that need medication.  Our clients can go away safe in the knowledge that Petpals is visiting their cats to feed, clean litter trays, play and provide lots of TLC.

Home Boarding

Your pets stay in the home of a dedicated pet carer, providing daytime minding or residential stays of any duration while you are away.  A full assessment and trial is carried out to ensure that carer and dog are compatible.  Other furry or feathered pets suitable for home boarding are also welcomed.

Home Sitting

We stay in your home while you are away providing the companionship and routine that your pets are used to. Whilst in residence we can water plants, put out the rubbish and bring in post and newspapers. A ‘Welcome Home Pack’ of supplies can also be arranged. 

Pet Taxi

We can transport your pet in comfort and safety, eg to vet or groomer.
