Hi, my name is Louise Biggs and I launched Petpals (Banbury & Daventry) in February 2010.

I have worked in Human Resources for 15 years but decided at the end of 2009 that I wanted a change. I have always loved animals and coupled with a desire to run my own business, running a Petpals franchise was the perfect solution!

My husband, Tony, and I live in a village on the borders of Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire with our adored 15 year old cat Oliver. I give him so much fuss and attention that my husband often claims that he takes second place to the cat (which is probably true since I had Oliver before I even met him!)

I have previously owned other cats and a lop eared rabbit and when the time is right, Tony and I hope to get a dog which is now possible as I am not away from home all day!

You can be assured that I will look after your pet/s as well as I do my own, and will offer a professional and reliable service at all times – giving you peace of mind while you are away from home.

At Petpals we are fully trained, insured, uniformed and police checked. We are delighted to offer a flexible range of friendly, professional services that can be personally tailored to your requirements and your pet’s individual needs. Our pet sitting and pet boarding services include, dog sitting, dog walking, dog boarding, home visits for cats and small pets, puppy care, elderly dog care, home visits for dogs, cat sitting and a pet taxi and pet to vet service.

• Dog Walking

  Making use of the many areas found locally, our dog walking aims to give your dog a stimulating and enjoyable walk in a safe environment. These can be individual visits for your dog(s) and or multi walks, with up to four dogs at a time transported in our purpose fitted vehicles.

• Puppy and Elderly Dog Visits

  Our puppy and elderly pet care service offers you units of time during the day to visit your dog(s) at home. During the visit we walk your dog or puppy, play, and if required help with ongoing training, toileting breaks, etc., along with, of course, lots of TLC.

• Dog Boarding and Pet Boarding

  We offer a pet boarding and pet care experience where your dog can stay in the home of one of our carefully selected, dedicated carers. You will be given the opportunity to meet the pet boarding carer before you go away and to see where your pet will be staying. When your dog stays with a Petpals approved family they are treated as one of the family with all the usual sights, sounds and smells of family life, but best of all they will receive all the love, cuddles and attention they deserve!

• Cat Sitting and Cat Visits

  Petpals have proven to be very popular with clients that want to leave their cats at home in there own environment, with familiar comforts and smells, particularly with elderly cats and cats that need medication. Our cat sitting service allows clients to go away safe in the knowledge that Petpals are visiting their cats to feed, clean litter trays if required, play, along with lots of TLC.

• Pet Sitting

  Our home based pet sitting service is a real alternative to kennels, your pets can remain in their own familiar surroundings, with their own routines and food while you are away.

• Home Sitting

  Home sitting is where one of our carers moves in when you move out to enjoy your holiday. It is a very cost effective alternative to kennels and catteries for families that have a number of different pets. Our fees include walks, all the love and care they need, a grocery allowance for the sitter and there are no hidden extras. Not only do we care for your pets but we also look after your home. Home sitting is a proven deterrent against domestic theft when homes would otherwise be vacant at holiday time.

• Small Pets and Exotics

  Petpals also have varied experience in caring for small pets and exotics and are happy to provide home visits for these types of pets too.

• Pet Taxi

  Petpals are equipped with pet friendly vehicles fitted with specially designed safety cages of various sizes with a vet bed on top of removable rubber matting for hygiene. We can transport everything from small pets and cats to giant dog breeds. We can also help with trips to the vets.
