Welcome to Petpals Banbury & Daventry

Louise launched Petpals (Banbury & Daventry) in February 2010 having worked previously in Human Resources for 15 years. She lives with her husband Tony, her cat, Oliver, and 4 ex-battery hens, Lottie, Gertie, Flossie and Ivy. Mixed in with them is often a visiting dog or rabbit, so it's a busy household.

Business has gone from strength to strength and within the last 6 months, Louise has been joined by 2 part-time pet carers/dog walkers, Lindsey Taylor and Deborah Hill who have plenty of pet experience between them; Lindsey currently owns a cat called Sox, a Boxer called Tyson, and has previously owned a parrot and lizards. She has also worked in kennels and a cattery while Deborah currently owns a Jack Russell called Jack but has grown up with many other dogs, parrots and guinea pigs!

Our home boarding service has proved extremely popular and Petpals (Banbury and Daventry) now has a number of licensed host families who provide a home from home experience for dogs and even birds!! If you would prefer your pets to stay at home, why not consider our house sitting service where one of our house sitters will live in your own home while you are away, providing companionship for your pets and security for your home.

Dog Walking

Making use of the many areas found locally, our dog walking aims to give your dog a stimulating and enjoyable walk in a safe environment. These can be individual visits for your dog(s) and or multi walks, with up to four dogs at a time transported in our purpose fitted vehicles.
Puppy and Elderly Dog Visits

Our puppy and elderly pet care service offers you units of time during the day to visit your dog(s) at home. During the visit we walk your dog or puppy, play, and if required help with ongoing training, toileting breaks, etc., along with, of course, lots of TLC.
Dog Boarding and Pet Boarding

We offer a pet boarding and pet care experience where your dog can stay in the home of one of our carefully selected, dedicated carers. You will be given the opportunity to meet the pet boarding carer before you go away and to see where your pet will be staying. When your dog stays with a Petpals approved family they are treated as one of the family with all the usual sights, sounds and smells of family life, but best of all they will receive all the love, cuddles and attention they deserve!
Cat Sitting and Cat Visits

Petpals have proven to be very popular with clients that want to leave their cats at home in there own environment, with familiar comforts and smells, particularly with elderly cats and cats that need medication. Our cat sitting service allows clients to go away safe in the knowledge that Petpals are visiting their cats to feed, clean litter trays if required, play, along with lots of TLC.
Pet Sitting

Our home based pet sitting service is a real alternative to kennels, your pets can remain in their own familiar surroundings, with their own routines and food while you are away.
Home Sitting

Home sitting is where one of our carers moves in when you move out to enjoy your holiday. It is a very cost effective alternative to kennels and catteries for families that have a number of different pets. Our fees include walks, all the love and care they need, a grocery allowance for the sitter and there are no hidden extras. Not only do we care for your pets but we also look after your home. Home sitting is a proven deterrent against domestic theft when homes would otherwise be vacant at holiday time.
Small Pets and Exotics

Petpals also have varied experience in caring for small pets and exotics and are happy to provide home visits for these types of pets too.
Pet Taxi

Petpals are equipped with pet friendly vehicles fitted with specially designed safety cages of various sizes with a vet bed on top of removable rubber matting for hygiene. We can transport everything from small pets and cats to giant dog breeds. We can also help with trips to the vets.
